NEW! OUT NOW!

We Went to the Animal Park Today,
24 page, colour, paperback book, 210 x 210 mm

A sign language book for children.

Written & Devised by Garry Slack

This charming, beautifully illustrated book, uses both English and signs taken directly from British Sign Language to produce a quirky and funny story about a visit to a zoo by a little girl and her daddy.

Written in rhyme, the father and daughter meet each of the animals who live at the park.  The little girl is very keen to make friends and chat to the animals but her daddy is not convinced and threatens to eat his hat if the animals respond!

On each page we are introduced to a new animal and learn the sign for each of the creatures.

Finally after meeting each of the animals, daddy gets a big shock!

  • Contains full colour photographs and descriptions of over 15 signs, each one sourced directly from British Sign Language
  • Fully illustrated throughout
  • Suitable for both deaf and hearing children
